Landers, Frary and Clark estabalished
the trade name "Universal" in the 1890's.
Art Nouveau: Spanned the period from about 1880 to WW I
Celluloid: Hyatt bros. patented in 1870.

Handles: Excellent
Of course the blade has scratches from sharpening.
