The wood is solid walnut.
This is a beautiful radio.

The radio itself however is as-is.
The tubes light up but there is no sound.
It may be something simple to repair.
I don't know. I know nothing about radios.
I'm thinking that this would be an excellent project
for someone with old-time radio repair experience.
